Innovo Group, a construction company operating across the UAE’s built environment, has formed a strategic partnership with Dubai PropTech Hub, an initiative spearheaded by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
This collaboration aims to accelerate construction innovation across the UAE and the broader Global South, encompassing Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
As construction industry serving a diverse range of government and private-sector clients, Innovo will utilise this partnership to advance its vision of embedding innovation throughout the design, engineering, and delivery processes of the built environment.
By integrating its extensive experience in live construction projects, engineering expertise, and a comprehensive innovation ecosystem with the capabilities of Dubai PropTech Hub, Innovo will play a pivotal role in identifying, testing, and scaling innovations that enhance cost efficiency, expedite project timelines, and ensure reliable delivery for both the industry and its clients.
Contributing 9.2% to the UAE’s GDP, the construction sector is a critical pillar of the national economy and a key focus of Dubai PropTech Hub’s PropTech 2033 report.
The partnership agreement was signed by Mohammad Alblooshi, the Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Innovation Hub and Simon Penney, the Deputy CEO of Innovo in the presence of Arif Amiri, the Chief Executive of DIFC Authority and Bishoy Azmy, the CEO of Innovo.
Launched in 2025 as part of the DIFC Innovation Hub, the Dubai PropTech Hub aims to accelerate innovation in the real estate technology sector. Its vision is to support over 200 PropTech start-ups and attract more than US $300mn in investment by 2030.
The hub now welcomes Innovo as a founding partner, along with its initial partners, to enhance innovation throughout the real estate value chain. It offers tailored licensing options, purpose-built physical workspaces, and a comprehensive suite of support programs designed to expedite the transition from concept to commercialisation.
