The e-allocation of 2,310 residential plots and homes to UAE citizens listed in a royal decree has begun, according to a report from state news agency WAM.
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) began allocating plots following directives from President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the orders of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and chairman of the executive council of Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM).
ADM confirmed that plots and houses are being allocated to citizens electronically and confirmed that citizens don’t have to visit its headquarters to complete the allocation process. The authority added that it would notify citizens that have been allocated plots within ten working days.
“Our leadership is making countless bounties and is keen to follow the path set by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan calling for providing a decent life for citizens as it effectively contributes to family and social stability. It will also help in promoting social and sustainable development,” said Saif Badr Al Qubaisi, the director general of Abu Dhabi City Municipality.
The introduction of online plot allocation is part of the initiatives of the Urban Planning and Municipalities Department of the ADM.
